Our House Portrait illustrations are perfect as a little treat for your home, or as a totally unique gift! (They are also included in all our House History Folios)
Our appreciation of older buildings doesn’t stop with their history, we think they look amazing too! For this reason we have an illustrator who loves to draw them. Wendy Malkin is based in Edinburgh and is continually inspired by the city and its old buildings.
Some of our recent commissions included designs for museum displays, and greetings cards for heritage organisations. Our favourites have been for special celebrations such as weddings and anniversaries.

We will ask you to send a snap of your house or property to us here and we will do the rest!
Step back to the past with our professionally researched House History Folios
Your house portrait will be hand drawn so we can add or delete basic features to give a pristine picture. In the first instance your image will be scanned into the computer and digitally finished. We do this so we can give you a proof and make minor edits, before we send it to print. Secondly we can send you a couple versions to choose from. We can also add personal or seasonal details as you like, completely optional.

All re-orders for greetings cards are at the basic price of £3.50 per card+pp. (minimum order 12 cards).
Discovering Heritage are a team of heritage designers and researchers. We are based in the North East but will consider commissions from further afield.
